Within the “Land and Rights - for Solidarity Social Economy in Palestine project”, Palestinian Youth Union, in cooperation with Arab Center for Agricultural Development (ACAD), implemented workshops for cooperative and charitable societies, in project's targeted areas, Governorates of (Jerusalem, Hebron, Bethlehem, Salfit ) and  was held in (Salfit, Bedou, Yatta and Al-Khader between (9-12/2/2020) in the presence of nearly 120 cooperative and charitable societies, in order to promote sustainable economic and social projects for cooperatives .

The Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation and the other partners (Cospe, Operation Dove, Ministry of Agriculture, Arab Center for Agricultural Development, SSE HUB, Cooperative Work Agency, Palestinian Youth Union) have launched an invitation to cooperatives and charities to submit projects to obtaining small grants, for implementing  activities  to promote sustainable and comprehensive social ,economic projects, enhancing opportunities for obtaining  work and  developing local economic .

It is expected that 25 grants will be provided under this call for projects, aiming to improve social, institutional conditions, and sustainable access to resources for developing social solidarity in the targeted areas.

Land and Rights Project seeks to enhance protection mechanisms to implement economic, social and cultural rights and international humanitarian law for the Palestinian population, improving the ability of Palestinian Authority to respond to cooperatives and charity’s needs, and strengthening  strategic, sustainable capabilities of cooperatives especially in area C.
